Imus Killed the Governor

Or nearly killed the governor of New Jersey. Seems Jon Corzine was coming back from negotiating a little love-in between Imus and the Rutgers basketball team when he got smashed up on the freeway. Imus should have seen this coming, people getting hurt as a result of his words. I say we indict him.

Let me see if I’ve got the stage right in this little production. An entertainer says something about a group of college basketball players and a governor is required to negotiate the situation. Somebody called me an asshole at work last week; get Condi Rice on the phone. And Jessie “Hymietown” Jackson has the moral high ground here?

Al Sharpton lied, people died.

Why don't people understand that talk radio is entertainment? I have never been able to get a handle on it. I guess I am a mind numbed robot. People say nasty thing on the radio all the time. Listen to NPR for a while and you will hear attacks on the presidentand belief in the global warming religion. They just don't use cuss words. Don Imus has been a jerk on the radio for 20 years and just NOW people are listening.
The fairness doctrine is gonna come back and we are going to have people who are on the radio now lose their shows because they have strong conservitive opinions and they won't be able to find someone who can do what Rush does with a liberal slant.
